I grew up in Los Angeles (when it was easy to drive around), have had multiple careers, am married and have several grandchildren.  I've traveled extensively, enjoyed competive sailing and scuba diving and like to cook.  The first important lesson I learned was that it was "good" to make mistakes.  This allowed me freedom to challenge myself and grow.  I exercise to stay healthy and fit so I can occasionally "break the rules" and eat what I want.  

With almost 30 years as a licensed psychotherapist and 30 years of experience in financial services, technology, manufacturng, marketing, and project management, I offer a unique insight into dealing with personal and business challenges. 

My previous background includes:

• Technology and product/project development for one of the largest California banks and the world's largest credit card institution 
• Executive Director of a community mental health organization
• Managing multiple levels of employees in large corporate environments
• Working with internal corporate and "outside" attorneys in numerous contracts and served as a subject matter expert in a $100M lawsuit (which we won)
• Served on the board of a $500M credit union for ten years and several boards of mental health professionals for the last twenty years
• BA in Economics and an MBA in Marketing (UCLA 1967); MA in Counseling (1998)
